What is the Friends of the Post 416 Program aka the Friends of the Post (FOP)?
The Friends of Post 416 program that we have started this 2025 is our patronage incentive program for our civilian guests.
Across the years, through our various open-to-the-public events, the American Legion Post 416 of Encinitas, California draws many loyal 100 % civilian patrons and guests who are not eligible for official membership in the Post, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion (SALs), or Legion Riders.
The above-mentioned chartered groups of American Legion Post 416 of Encinitas, California require an individual to either be an eligible US military veteran, an Active Duty/Reserves/National Guard member, or be a spouse, immediate family member, or descendant (up to being a great-grandchild) of an eligible US military veteran or Active Duty/Reserves/National Guard member.
We at AL Post 416 nonetheless still want to honor our 100% civilian friends and guests for their loyal patronage of our Post by the Coast and its many community events.
Thus, we hope our civilian patrons will consider joining the Friends of the Post (minimum fee to access one’s 12-month FOP membership is only $100.00) to avail of the many benefits it has to offer right here at AL Post 416 of Encinitas, the Post by the Coast!***
